These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the PH Legal Recruitment ( “PH Legal”, “us” or “we”) website at https://phlegal.co.uk / (“PH Legal Site”) and your relationship with PH Legal. Please read them carefully as they affect your liabilities and rights under the law. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the PH Legal Site
If you are seeking to instruct PH Legal for the provision of recruitment services, our standard terms and conditions shall apply.
Use of the PH Legal Site:
We operate the PH Legal Site to assist in understanding PH Legal’s services and in communicating with us. The PH Legal Site is provided for your personal use subject to these Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the PH Legal Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Amendments:
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time for regulatory or legal reasons or to allow the proper operation of the PH Legal Site. We will endeavour to notify you of any changes. The changes will apply to the use of the PH Legal Site after we have given notice. If you do not wish to accept the amended Terms and Conditions you should not continue to use the PH Legal Site. Candidates’ use of the PH Legal Site
candidates are not permitted to use the PH Legal Site for any of the following purposes:
- conveying subject matter that encourages behaviour that constitutes a criminal offence, results in civil liability or otherwise breaches any applicable laws, regulations or code of practice;
- spreading any unlawful, obscene, harmful, vulgar, threatening, abusive, libellous, harassing, obscene, or any other objectionable material or otherwise breaching any laws;
- impeding any other person’s use or enjoyment of the PH legal site; or
- making, conveying or storing electronic copies of materials protected by copyright without the permission of the owner.
Candidates will be liable for our costs and losses resulting from your breach of this clause.
By supplying information through the PH Legal Site you acknowledge and agree that while we may contact you in response to the information you provide, we are not obliged to provide you with any particular service or goods.
Registration:
If you register via the PH Legal site you must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
You must notify us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by revising your personal details in order that we can correspond with you effectively.
We may cancel or suspend your registration immediately at our discretion or if you contravene any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
Disclaimer:
Whilst PH Legal uses reasonable care in collating and presenting the content found on the PH Legal Site, it is provided purely for information and you should seek further guidance and make independent enquiries before relying upon it. If PH Legal is informed of any errors in the content on the PH Legal Site we will attempt to correct the errors as soon as we reasonably can.
If we break any of these Terms and Conditions, we will only be accountable for any losses that you suffer to the extent that they are a predictable consequence to both of us. Our legal responsibility shall not in any event include business losses such as lost data, lost profits or business interruption.
These Terms and Conditions shall not limit or affect our liability if something we do without due care and attention causes death or personal injury.
Clients:
PH Legal makes no representation or guarantee in respect of any of the following:
- the existence or availability of any appointment advertised on the PH Legal Site;
- that any employer or client will ask for your résumé, ask to meet with you or recruit you;
- that any client or employer will keep classified any of your information or data provided to that client or employer; or
- the final terms and duration of any appointment obtained through the PH Legal Site.
Availability of the PH Legal Site:
If an error occurs in the service you should report it to PH Legal and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as possible. If PH Legal is advised of any inaccuracies in the content on the PH Legal Site we will endeavour to correct the errors as soon as reasonably possible.
Access to the PH Legal Site may be periodically restricted to allow for maintenance. We will attempt to restore the service as soon as reasonably possible.
Diversity and Equal Opportunities:
We may also release information relating to you to regulatory or law enforcement authorities, if required to do so. We may use the information we have collected about you on an anonymised basis for the purposes of monitoring in relation to our equal opportunities policy. We also reserve the right to disclosure the information we have collected about you to our professional advisers and to other persons to the extent that PH Legal contracts out any aspect of the operation of its recruitment agency services. These third parties will be acting under similar undertakings of privacy as PH Legal.
Intellectual Property:
All information incorporated within the PH Legal Site is licensed or owned by PH Legal. You may access and show the content of the PH Legal Site on a computer screen, store such content in electronic format on disk (but not any server or other storage equipment connected to a network) or print one copy of the content for your own personal, non-commercial use, providing you keep intact all and any copyright and proprietary notices. You may not otherwise replicate, amend, copy or distribute or use for commercial purposes any of the content on the PH Legal Site without written consent from PH Legal.
These terms and conditions will be subject to the laws of England and Wales. We will try to solve any disputes quickly and professionally. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disputes, and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so within the United Kingdom.
You may not assign any of your rights under these Terms and Conditions to any other person. We may assign our rights under these Terms and Conditions to another business where we reasonably believe your rights will not be affected.
If you breach these Terms and Conditions and PH Legal chooses to ignore this, PH Legal will still be entitled to use its rights and remedies at a later date or in any other situation where you breach the Terms and Conditions.
PH Legal shall not be responsible for any infringement of these Terms and Conditions caused by conditions beyond its reasonable control.
